Why Choose STIHL Blades?

50% longer service life
STIHL guide bars are manufactured with a specially hardened chain track, offering high reliability and up to 50% longer service life compared to conventional guide bars. The chain track is hardened by electromagnetic induction, which makes it particularly durable.

Extremely light
STIHL LIGHT 04 guide bars are particularly light, making them easier to handle without affecting their stability or durability. They consist of three welded metal plates with a large recess in the centre plate, a feature that keeps stability high while reducing weight. The result is more comfort while working, less effort required and efficient cutting performance.

Long service life and maintenance-free
The STIHL LIGHT 04 guide bars feature a nose sprocket with a sealed bearing, designed to prevent the entry of contaminants that could cause corrosion and premature wear of the chain. The sealed bearing is lubricated for life, offering longer service life and maintenance-free operation. Unlike conventional K095 and A041 link-type guide bars, which require manual relubrication via an oil channel, STIHL’s solution helps reduce the risk of premature wear and increase reliability.

Reduces chain oil consumption
With the STIHL Ematic system, chain oil consumption can be reduced by up to 50% compared to conventional cutting attachments without Ematic. This technology ensures optimal oil distribution where it’s needed, providing adequate chain lubrication while also offering greater economy in oil consumption.
WHAT MAKES STIHL BLADES THE RIGHT CHOICE?

For Professionals
The STIHL Light 04 guide bar with K095 rear support is designed for professional use in agriculture and forestry. Maintaining STIHL’s high quality standards, it features a four-rivet construction and specially designed inner plates, making it up to 22% lighter than standard K095 bars. As a result, it offers greater ease of handling and more flexible operation in everyday use.
For individual users
The STIHL Light 04 with the A041 rear support is designed to offer the ideal combination of lightweight construction, reliability, and durability for private users and farmers. Its construction, featuring four rivets and specially shaped, lighter internal plates, makes it up to 15% lighter than conventional A041 bars, offering more comfortable and easier handling.

HOW TO FIND THE PERFECT STIHL BLADE
_μήκος-λάμας.webp)
Bar Length
The correct chain length is determined by the bar length. You can find the bar length in the service field printed on it (marked inside the circle in the image). If you want to measure the guide bar, make sure not to include the rear support section (shown in black in the image), as this is not part of its effective length.

Chain Pitch
To select the correct chain pitch, consult the user manual for your chainsaw provided by the manufacturer. On many chainsaws, the chain pitch is also marked in the service area of the guide bar, making it easy to identify quickly and accurately.

Number of chain guides
The correct number of chain guides can be found in the user manual for the third-party chainsaw. In many cases, the number of guides is also marked in the service field on the guide bar, making it easier to identify.
If you wish to count them manually, be sure to count only the chain links and not the cutting teeth (see image).

Bar Groove Width
The bar and chain must be compatible with each other, as the chain is guided through the bar by the drive guides. The appropriate groove width is selected based on the machine’s power.
If you want to use your existing guide bar as a reference, you can find the groove width in the service field printed on the guide bar (see the circled area in the image). In this example, the groove width is 1.6 mm.
